3/28/2024 0 Comments Rickenbacker 325![]() So I thought: "Why don't I just disconnect the middle pickup and I'll be able to mix the other two great sounding pickups!" Really dull and hard to make out high's or lows with any clarity. And when you engage all three, for some reason, it gets muddy as hell. Unless you rewire the guitar or replace the loom entirely you have no option but Neck, Bridge or all three. The problem with the 325 IMHO is that the middle pickup is only available in combination with the other two pickups. Lovely and warm with lots of low end but great articulation. (here's me doing Smokestack Lightening with just the rick through a blues junior with some reverb: ) I love the sound of the bridge pickup for blues and 60's covers, and I love the neck pickup for jazz. ![]() ![]() Super flexible, I play blues and some jazz. So my number 1 is a Rickenbacker 325 V59 that I love to death.
